Making the Perfect Cup
The grind, coffee, mechanism, temperature, even the water you choose, can alter the taste of your cup. Everybody’s tastes and situations are different, so think of these guides as just that, a guide, to ensure that you get the most out of your Numa Coffee.
As a reminder, the basic elements of great coffee are as follows:
1
Use freshly roasted, just ground coffee
2
Use filtered water, heated to 205º F. This can be done by bringing water to a boil and removing it from heat for 20-30 seconds.
3
According to your desired taste and brew type, use the suggested ratio of coffee to water. 2 rounded tablespoons of coffee for every 6 ounces of water is considered the “golden ratio” of coffee to water for most coffee makers.
4
Store whole beans in an airtight container, out of direct sunlight, and away from heat, cold, and moisture (only grind when you are ready to drink).
